About us
With the world pushing and pulling Christians in every direction. We as a church have purposed to do everything we can to stand for Christ and against Satan and those he uses. It is easy to get caught up in the thought that those around us engaged in the world are our enemies , but that is not the case. Satan is our enemy! Not those he uses and manipulates. Our desire is to go out into the world and both love, and minister to those caught up in the things of the world and bring their attention to spiritual things.
We believe that the anchor of our faith is the Lord Jesus Christ. We also believe that apart from a personal relationship with Him, you cannot serve the Lord. We believe that the Bible is the sole authority for faith and practice of the Christian life, and that the principles for right living can be found within its pages. We are dedicated to honoring and glorifying God through Scripture, godly music, and the preached Word of God. The Apostles laid a great foundation with Christ as the chief corner stone. We see no reason to depart from those old paths. The Bible tells us a few things we need to Know. 1. ALL HAVE SINNED- Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Sin is anything we do that is wrong. We come short of heaven because we have sinned. 2. THE PENALTY FOR SIN IS DEATH IN HELL! Whether you have sinned a little or a lot, there is only one punishment for sin, and that is eternity in the lake of fire. Revelation 20:14 states “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.“ According to Romans 6:23 the second death is what we have earned for our sin. This verse say’s “For the wages of sin is death.” 3. Jesus paid the penalty for sin. The good news is that Jesus paid our sin debt by his death, burial, and resurrection. Romans 5:8 says, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” The free gift of eternal life is offered to all, however, the only way to receive it is by accepting Jesus Christ’s payment alone. 4. YOU MUST ASK JESUS TO SAVE YOU. The Bible say’s “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.“ Romans 10:9 to receive the free gift of eternal life, you must repent of your sin and ask Jesus to save you. Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” If you have any questions please feel free to call and we would be happy to help find the answer,
